Hiring Veterans and Spouses
Through our experiences working with the military community we recognize and appreciate the unique skills, training, and experience that veterans bring to the workforce, and we’ve made a commitment to implement veteran and military family friendly hiring practices. We have worked hard to develop policies, practices, and a company culture that creates a supportive environment for our military-connected team members.

The SOLID Veterans Resource Group
The Veteran Resource Group (VRG) serves a dual purpose: providing a support structure for veteran employees and serving an advisory role for SOLID leadership. New hires are invited to join this employee-led group that offers assistance with transition, navigating veterans benefits, peer mentorship, and a place to discuss service-related news and happenings.
When called upon, the group shares their unique military perspective to provide recommendations for internal processes/policies as well as client-related products and services.
National Guard / Reserves Compensation
SOLID’s Reserve/Guard compensation program enables employees who are members of the National Guard or a U.S. Military Reserve to focus on their service duties without concern for their finances. During periods of service, SOLID makes up the difference between their Guard/Reserve compensation and their normal weekly pay for any missed work days.
